Vali-Date is on a mission to provide sexual health transparency, awareness, and safety by transforming the dating app technical landscape. This is the first (and only) dating app which enables users to confidentially share their sexual health test results with selected members prior to ever even meeting with them. Our innovative approach is backed by 4 separate U.S. patents and addresses a critical gap in the market.
The Problem
Everyone that’s dating is in middle of a sexual health crisis. The meteoric rise of dating apps has revolutionized the way people connect and find romantic partners, but with this convenience comes new challenges regarding sexual health and general safety. Existing dating apps have not evolved with technology to enhance these specific safety measures.
Our Solution
Vali-Date is a new dating app which has partnered with a medical testing lab enabling members the ability to self-administer at-home STD tests and send them to the lab in a pre-labeled shipping box provided. Their results can be shared with other selected members directly from in the app. Members can match with other members whether STD-free or they can also opt-into like-condition matching as well. An upcoming version of Vali-Date will offer member identity verification and criminal background checking options as well.
Why Now?
With STD transmissions at an all-time high, the dating app market needs innovation. 1 in 3 adults have an STD and 80% of those infected don’t have symptoms and may not even be aware they have it. 50% of people will have an STD by age 25.
