| The phenomenal success of these apps has inhibited their ability to see the need to evolve and enable members to share sexual health tests results with each other prior to connecting in-person. |
| These same dating apps also have not recognized the value of adding member identity verification nor criminal background checking features. |
| Individual privacy and autonomy |
| No one would ever want their most private information displayed for “everyone” to see on a dating app platform (especially things like STD testing and background checks). |
| Vali-Date requires each member to preview and acknowledge their own test results first. After this is done, members may only share this information with others on a member-by-member basis…and only with members they are currently “matched” with (i.e., both people “like” one another). The consent to share this information can also be revoked on a member-by-member basis at any time. |
